Dear friend, you hold in your hands is not quite the usual poetic book.
In this book - the suffering and pain, which shall remain the wounded soul of every man who went through hell fascist slavery. It attempts - fixed in poetic form of human suffering experienced during the rule W Reich.
The authors of poetry - people who in his younger years in captivity were deprived of all: children, the right to learn, to love, to rest, to do what, to freely choose their future.
Their lyrical works - skipped through the heart and penetrated deep sorrow yearning for the mother to his native home, worrying about how hard it was to leave his native land. Joyless youth years spent in captivity, severe exhausting slave labor, starvation, cold, moral and physical tortures.
Many verses substituted in this book were written in captivity and in the hard postwar years.
The authors of some of them are children of former slaves.
Not all poems are perfect from a literary point of view, but their value is that they try to pass a very hard experience and the associated complex human feelings.
In this "V'yaznyarskiy Odyssey", in essence, means poetry reproduced methods and scope of Hitler's Nazi enslavement of our people.
